Designed and built in collaboration with DigiVision, of San Diego, a recognized leader in real-time video hardware, PixonVision is a hardware implementation of the Pixon Method designed specifically for real-time video processing.
PixonVision is an ideal solution for existing video systems because it requires no system reconfiguration. Its applications range from the operating room to the battlefield, indeed anywhere critical decisions depend upon real-time video.
PixonVision combines frame-by-frame resolution improvement, noise reduction and optimal contrast, offering state-of-the-art video enhancements without latency. PixonVision can increase resolution so that objects appear twice as close, reduce noise by a factor of three or four and enhance images in bright and dark areas simultaneously, revealing details otherwise hidden.
PixonVision is an ideal solution for existing implementations of video systems because it does not require reconfiguration of installed systems. Its applications are wide ranging and can be used, for example, in warhead video to enable missiles to ‘see’ their targets earlier, or in emergency rooms to enhance video data during life threatening situations.
In addition to PixonVision's rack-mountable version, the product is available as a printed-circuit board for integration into new video-hardware designs. Coming soon is an integrated-circuit implementation for mass-production and portable systems.
